FirstLight Children's Ministry
"Letting His Light Shine!"
Every Sunday we strive to teach the Word of God in
relevant and meaningful ways to children. We
want a child's church experience to impact their choices
and actions. Kidmo and Lil' K are exciting multi-media
curriculums that deliver biblical worldview lessons,
high energy praise and worship music and small group
time with loving adult mentors.

-We believe Kids are world-changers.
-We believe Jesus, God's only Son, is the ultimate
world changer bringing forgiveness of sins and eternal
life.
-We believe the Bible is the true inspired word of
God.
-We believe the kids have an amazing ability to
understand biblical truths and apply to their lives.
Kidmo is about
transforming lives!
K-5 Call to Action
-K- Know God
-I- Integrate Biblical Worldview
-D- Discover Truth
-M- Make Christ Known

5 layers to Life Change (there is a pyramid logo on
the Kidmo website) Safe, Fun, Relational,
Relevant and Personal (safe is foundation)
A safe environment is our number one priority
for our LittleLights on Sunday morning! Upon
arrival and check-in a parent/legal guardian will
wear a wristband with an ID # that matches your
child's wristband ID #. These are called Twinbands. At
the end of children's church an adult leader will check
wristband ID's before releasing your child. An
adult leader is always present in faithful compliance
of all Kansas and Methodist Rules of Safe and Sacred.
Lil'k is our preschool program for 3-5 year olds. Lil'k
meet in room 304 during our 9:00 am and 10:45 service.
Kidmo is our elementary school program for kids in
Kidergarten through 4th grade. Kidmo meets in
the Lecture Room during our 9:00 and 10:45 service.
FIRST STEPS Nursery
FirstLight wants
you to feel comfortable knowing that your littlest ones receive the best care.
So at each worship time, we provide a nursery with a wonderful, loving worker
who will be there every Sunday so you and your child can recognize them. Another
adult is also present in faithful compliance of all Kansas and Methodist rules
of Safe and Sacred Sanctuaries.
Held in Nursery Room 302
Get Involved
Imagine
serving in a ministry where you get the chance to tell
children each week how much God loves them. A place
where you connect with a team of volunteers to make
the Word of God come alive! Imagine singing along to
worship music that touches your heart and laughing
and smiling with children.
Here are some ways that you can get involved in FirstLight
Children's Ministry... Be a Kidmo or Lil'K adult leader,
act as an adult mentor and lead a small group, greet
and sign in children at the registration table, volunteer
in our nursery or join us for special LittleLights
events! If you love the Lord and would like to make
a difference in the life of a child we would love to
talk to you. Please contact Lori McLovich (Director
of Children's Ministry) at lorischmalz@hotmail.com
