Our Leadership:

FirstLight’s leadership consists of the Leadership Council (LC), the Staff Parish Relations Committe (SPRC), the Staff, and the Ministry Team. The pastor is a member of all of these leadership groups of the church.

Staff Parish Relations Committee (SPRC) -  Staff HR committee of the church.  The SPRC makes decisions on hiring non-appointed staff (this does not include the lead pastor), HR policy consistent with the United Methodist Book of Disciple, all staff performance reviews including the pastor(s), staff recognitions/celebrations, and transitions of non-appointed staff.  The Kansas East Conference of the United Methodist Church makes the appointed staff decisions (pastors) for all churches under it jurisdiction.  You can email the whole SPRC using This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
