FirstLight Music:

The music you will find at FirstLight is different. It sounds like the music you sing along to in your car rather than the music you might hear at a funeral. With an acoustic guitar, Mike Hibit leads FirstLight in singing modern Christian songs, original songs written in the context of this community, and old hymns revived for contemporary instrumentation and voice.

Music is one of the ways we communicate the message of Jesus in a language that people today can understand.  Music stirs our affections for Christ.  The Scriptures command that we sing, and we seek to honor God by singing truth about Him, His grace, and His love.
