Special Announcements:

Now through end of March - FirstLight is collecting current style prom gowns and suits/sport jackets/tuxes to take to Crosslines to help teens attend their prom who can not afford to buy a prom gown or suit.  Bring your donation to church on Sunday and place on the Missions table.

Relay For Life - Cindy Trug of FirstLight is organizing a Relay For Life team again this year.  The event is July 9-10.  Help Cindy and FirstLight fight cancer by joining the Relay For Life team.

Adult Men’s Softball - If you are interested in playing on FirstLight’s men’s softball team, please email Ryan Learned.  Spring softball season starts late March/early April.  Games will be at 6:30pm or 8:30pm on Monday night.  Sign up by March 21.

Sunday, Feb. 14 - Confirmation for the youth is in session.   Confirmation is for ages 12 and older.  If you would like to have your son or daughter be apart of a future confirmation class, please contact Youth Minister Aline Silva or Pastor Brad.  Here are the dates for the current confirmation classes…

Every Sunday starting Jan. 17 - children will start in worship and then go back to their classrooms after songs and announcements, and then return to worship for communion and final songs. Click on Children’s Ministry to read more about our Children’s Ministry program.

Starting Sunday, Jan. 17 - FirstLight will be accepting special donations for UMCOR and health kits for victims of the Haiti and Chile earthquakes. If you want to make a special donation, then note it on your check and put in the offering basket on Sunday. If you want to bring health kits, click on Serve with FirstLight for the specific items to put in the health kits.

Starting Sunday, Jan. 31 @ 2pm - FirstLight’s 13-week class on Financial Peace University (FPU) is underway.  See Sarah or Kendall Mille if you are interested in joining the next FPU.  And stay tuned for more information about “Generation Change” which is FPU for the Youth. March 28 @ 5pm - Nooma Nights - young adult (18 to 35) meeting with Pastor Brad. Enjoy dinner and a short video together before Bible Study and great conversation.
