Our Mission:
FirstLight’s mission is to…
1. INVITE people seeking meaning in everyday life,
2. BUILD healthier relationships with God, self, and others;
3. CHANGE the community & world through Christian discipleship & service.
We live out our mission by inviting people to join us in Sunday Worship, Youth Group, Small Groups, and Special Events. We have service every Sunday at 10am at Gardner Edgerton High School, 425 N. Waverly. We have Youth Group every Wednesday night at our FirstLight Downtown (FLDT) location. We offer various Small Group studies over the year. And we host various Special Events such as Easter Egg Hunts, Christmas Eve and Eve Eve Services, Worship in the Park, Vacation Bible School, Community Service Events, and others. Stay tuned to our website for announcements on these Special Events.
So we INVITE you to join us in Worship, at Youth Group, in Small Group studies, and at our Special Events.
We also live out our mission by providing thought-provoking sermons, upbeat contemporary and traditional Christian music, and quality children’s and youth ministry programs. All to help people and kids find a deeper meaning to life: the reasons why God put us on this good Earth.
Through our Sunday worship including Children’s & Youth Sunday School, Small Groups, Youth Group, and Special Events, our faith community learns how to BUILD heathlier relationships with God, theirselves, and others.
And finally, we do all of this to CHANGE ourselves, the community, and the world for the better. A better place for us and for those with whom we share God’s creation.
